Peggy Shotwell

PEGGY SUE SHOTWELL August 20, 1933 - September 25, 2014 Peggy Sue Shotwell, age 81, of May Creek Lodge, Walker, MN and longtime resident of Little Sand Lake, Park Rapids, MN, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2014. Peggy was born in Columbia, TN and joined the US Navy at the age of 19. She served during the Korean War where she met and married William Boyd, father of her four children. She was a dental hygienist at the Mpls, V.A. and married Robert Shotwell in 1980. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Bob, parents, sister, brother and her beloved granddaughter Jessica. She is survived by daughters, Marilyn Boyd, Diane Vinge, Sherry Leseman (Steve); son, Mark Boyd, stepdaughter, Sue Sloan, stepson, Bob Shotwell (Diane) and many special grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom, our life is fuller, our memories are sweeter, our world is warmer because of your love. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4th, gathering at 9:30 a.m., service at 10:30 a.m., at Hope Lutheran, 305 Tenth St. S, Walker, MN.
